Whatever The Season is the first of Deirdre's songs to be recorded by Electric Color Wheel. Jeremy, Deirdre, and their talented friends recorded this version with acoustic instruments in order to achieve a sound that's closer to the band's current live sound than other available Electric Color Wheel recordings.

After some promising early sessions, Jeremy and Deirdre decided to try to get the song recorded a few days before Christmas, in time for a Christmas release. Several whirldwind days and late nights later, Whatever The Season was ready. A couple of remixes later, the song was really ready. And then, after just a few more remixes, it was actually ready.
